Over the last 10 months Ayrshire Scouting has been planning for their representatives who will attend the 2008 International Blair Atholl Jamborette at Blair Atholl in Perthshire.
It started off with a selection camp in September 2007 as there were a limited number of palces available to the area, and there were Scouts and Explorer Scouts that were interested. Unfortunately we could not accomodate all of these and a difficult decision had to be made. Following that decision there were three training week-ends at the Area Camp Site at Culzean.
The following pictures are of the members of the Ayrshire Contingent and the International Patrol that they have been paired with following the arrival of the International Patrols on Tuesday 22nd July.
Once we know details of how they are paired, we will publish it here.
The first picture of the set was taken at Culzean in June, at the beginning of the last training week-end.
The two Ayrshire Patrols are paired as follows:
Craig, Sean, Conor W, Rory, Peter and Miles have 1 .of the patrols from Berlin
and Robin, Simon, Blair, Andrew, Conor F and Matthew with one of the patrols
from Maryland, USA.
